Our reference points have been specially developed for use with structured light and laser scanners. They serve as precise markers for the spatial orientation of the scanner and for the exact merging of individual scans. Depending on the scanner system, we offer different variants that are optimally tailored to the respective requirements – for example, in terms of size, adhesion, or reflection properties.
Reference points are indispensable when it comes to high accuracy for complex geometries or large-scale objects. They ensure stable point assignment and improve scan quality by minimizing motion errors and reducing the computing power required to merge the scans.
